The word originally meant to maintain or to continue. And at the present time it means to maintain yourself and people who surrounds you amused and pleased. Entertainment is rather a form or recreation or relaxation. Entertainment should always bring enjoyment and fun. To entertain themselves people read books or magazines, listen to the music, watch moves and talk to other people. People can also play some nice games to entertain themselves and others or to dance.
